Hello.

My problem is described by Christoph Bumen @cbumen in post below.

Assumption: You have two sales orders each containes one pallet both have the delivery date 10.10.2015 10:00 and both go to the same customer
Loading time is 1 hour, unloading time is 1 hour transit time is 24 hours.

I need unloading time to be 1 hour for both, not 2 * 1 hour. Because one customer have one unloading time for all orders.

Help please.

May be someone found desision since 2015?

Hi Andrey,

I remember seeing TM road maps that talked about this type of functionality however it was awhile ago and I don't know if it ever came out in any of the newer releases. We had a similar problem during our implementation. There are a couple ideas to consider.

1. You could merge your freight units. Instead of having two with 1 pallet, you would have 1 freight unit with 2 pallets. Then you would have the correct unloading/loading time.

2. If the total time for loading/unloading exceeds the allotted time for a stop, e.g. 4 pallets (4 freight units) with a total unload time of 4 hours and the stop capacity is 2, the optimizer may not plan the freight units on the same stop. To get around this, you could use ShipsWith logic in the pre-processor to tell the optimizer to plan them on the same stop. It is only a soft constraint though.
