SSO with legacy web applications in EP 7

Hi Friends,

As we know SSO is a prime feature for EP. How do we have the SSO for the web based legacy application ?

These applications could be J2EE, .Net based.

Some of the applications may create custom user database. In these cases how do we achieve SSO ?
