Hi All,
Can you please clarify my doubt ?
1. Can I just implement Netweaver and connect with SAP
R/3 4.6C ?
2. Do I need to have any other module implemented for this? Like XI / MDM etc?
Regards,
Rambadri

Hi Michal,
Let me explain my Doubt
1. Is it possible to install Netweaver seperately and
whatever the components we want like XI, EP, MDM
seperately ?
2. Incase if i want to connect a R3 system with a
Netweaver, should I definitely need to have XI, EP,
MDM etc ?
Please clarify my doubt

Hi,
>>>1. Is it possible to install Netweaver seperately and

seperately ?
Yes Netweaver contains all this components and while installing you will be prompted to select the components (like XI, BI, EP, etc.)to be installed along with the centeral instances.
>>>2. Incase if i want to connect a R3 system with a
Netweaver, should I definitely need to have XI, EP,
MDM etc ?
Yes you need. XI is a middleware which helps you to connect two or more systems. The connect systems either can be R/3, some DB applications and XI has adapters to connect. It totally depends on your requirement.
Thanks,
Prakash
