NEW TDS CERTIFAT TDS & ECess updation in Form 16

Hi,

As per new legal requirement, the TDS form (Form 16)is changed and is now required to include TDS/ECess/Surcharge etc. For this SAP has suggested some notes.

We have updated SAP patch in totality and all SAP Notes are implemented. However, on testing, we observed that the TDS & Ecess amount are not getting printed in the TDS certificate.

I feel that there are some configuration steps which are not done.

Request the community to suggest how to solve the issue.

Regards

Santosh Agarwal

    Hi Santosh,

    Good morning and greetings,

The TDS Certificate would be in the SAPScript. By applying the notes, the system will calculate the ECess and other related items, but for printing the same in the certificate the SAPScript needs to be modified for displaying the same. Ask you ABAPer to modify the SAPScript to display these items.

Hope this meets your requirement and please award points if this answer was useful.

    Thanking you

    With kindest regards

      Hi Santosh,

      Good afternoon and greetings,

Normally for TDS the procedure will be to run the TDS Challan Updation, Bank Challan Updation and then print the TDS Certificate. Are your doing as per this cycle?

      Take care

      Thanking you

      With kindest regards

      Ramesh Padmanabhan
