incompletion log in CRM 4.0

Hi all,

when ever we create a sales transaction in CRM the system should automatically populate the field "CREATED ON" (which will be in header over view tab page) this date has to take from the system date.

But it is not populated can any one suggest me in this regard plz?

Any inputs will be highly appreciated.
