Synch load for Z-table from R/3 to CDB

I have a Z-table in R/3 and a corresponding 'ZMO' table in the CDB. I have created the corresponding customizing adapter object, sBDocs, etc. The CDB table has an additional field that is not in R/3. This field needs to be populated in CRM during the synch. load process. What options do I have? Thanks!

Hi AV,

The option of data exchange directly form R/3 to CDB was possible in CRM 2.0 but from CRM3.0 onwards architecture has changed. You need to send the data from R/3 to CRM and CRM to CDB and vice versa.

So in your case if fields are present in CDB and not in R/3 or CRM then in order to exchange those fields you have to enhance both R/3 and CRM. Have a look of note 513313 this will give you idea how to enable exchange the fields which are not supported by standard middleware.

Thanks for your reply. I actually figured how to do this. I used function module SAMPLE_CUST_EXIT_SMOUTIL1 as a template and made corresponding entries in TBE24 and TPS34.
