Cannot add businesspartners via DTW

Hello,

I'm trying to import business partners into our SAP Business One Company via the DTW. I followed the templates which can be found in the DTW installation dir, but I keep getting this error:

Bank and account do not exist in the company Application-defined or object-defined error65171

Does anybody know how to solve this problem and what may be causing it? I am using SBO 2005 SP1, PL7

Thanks in advance!

Wouter,

If you are providing House Bank information, I think DTW accepts only Bank Code and not Bank Name. May be this is the problem?

Regrettably, I was providing HousBank (the bank code), but I got the same error when disabling the field (setting it to [Leave it blank]) in DTW.

Edit:

I have also tried putting HouseBank on -1, that gave a slightly different error: [OCRD.BankCode]Application-defined or object-defined error65171

Is it me or are these error messages often very vague and cryptic?

The messages in DTW are sometimes a little vague. Dont desperate!

Try checking in Administration/System Initialisation/Company Details/Basic Initialisation, the House Bank there is set.

It would must been a valid account of the company, or otherwise leave the House Bank fields in blank.

Hope it helps

A hous bank was defined, so I temporarily "undefined" it and then imported, everything worked without problems. After the DTW, I restored the original House Bank.

Thanks for the hints.
