Customizing setting to Input the coding field in T-code IW26

Hello Expert

So as to enable the input the setting in transaction IW26 for the field coding, I did the customization in OIAL but still the field is grayed out not able to input it. Is there any other customization setting to enable it.

Dear Kiran Unde,

You have an Influence of the Activity Type 'H', which stands for "Create", set to "Display", on all the Notification Types. This means that you will never be able to enter the Coding field value when you are creating the Notification (IW21 etc.), but you do not have any Influence from the Activity Type 'V', which means you can always add the Coding field value when you are in Change mode in IW22 / IW28.

Is removing the Influence of the Activity Type 'H' on the field an option?

Some things to test

• Ensure that the catalog is active (see image 1 below)
• Send an image of your catalog profile
• Send an image of the notification profile assignment (IW23->Extras->Settings->CatProf->Display)

Please find below screen in our case I wants that field enable for order type Z8.

In your first image, click the "Influences" button to see if there are any existing settings that make this field geryed-out.

Have you configured this Catalog Type in the Catalog Profile which is assigned to your Notification Type: (SPRO and search for "Change Catalogs and Catalog Profile for Notification Type"):

Have you also checked whether there are any Influencing fields e.g. for Notification type?
