"I use 202 movement consumption for cost center reversal but it doesn't work."

This is an unqualified sentence, why does it not work, SAP is not silence it issues messages to communicate with users. Please be more specific.

Beside of expected receipts to clear negative stock it could also be that a user entered a wrong quantity in a goods issue, in that case you should cancel the goods issue and redo it with the correct quantity.

But before any correction happens you should analyze what is causing the negative stock to finally choose the correct approach to equalize it.

Hi Ramesh

If you have stock available to issue it must be from some sort of Good receipt. You will need to post that good receipt and add stock in the site. In case you don't have any reference or information on the good receipt, you can use movement 561 to add the stock as initial balance.

If you want to just adjust stock you can use inventory management movements (e.g movement 712) depending on what account you want to post that stock on.

Thanks

Vibhor.

inventory movements should not be used standalone, they are supposed to be automatic movements triggered from an inventory document, and 712 is anyway indication a WM inventory.

first you need to analyze where why It is negative stock . then in same way you need to bring it back. so it will not have a financial impact.

561 can be used

202 can be used

262 can be used if it has been issued to production

but best way to analyze the issue
