Datasource Enhancement problem

Dear all,

I am facing problem with datasource enhancement.

I have created new append structure and added requried fields to that but when I am trying to activate it is showing " These fields exists in the table twice" and its not actiavating.

Pls give ur input.

that seems that you have add field to append structure that already exists in extraction structure, have you check this?

yes, pls tell how to add the fields which are in standard structure to datasrc.

If they are already in the standard structure of the datasource, you do not need to add them to the append structure. The append structure is for your convenience to add <i>new</i> fields that are not part of the standard structure.

My problem is standard extract stucture contains my required fields but those are not appearing in change mode of datasource itself.

How to make them available.

OK, i just have the same problem. It is because of customizing (provided by sap, and depend of the application, in my actual case retail).

Create a new field and assign ti it the same data element that the original one.

For example:

original field brgew data element brgew.

in your append structure new field zzbrgew data element brgew. and use this one in your exit
