Hello,

My client's requirement is to price the articles on Vendor/Article/UOM but the case is as below illustrated with screen shots:

1- Prices of UOMs defined as below

2- when creating purchase order with PC and CAR, price is coming right

3- when changing the UOM in the 2nd line item as seen below, the price is not updated

My Questions is: Is there any way that the price is changed automatically without have to press on the update button

why should it be changed? The price has its own unit and this has not changed:

did you already try to click the update button, I doubt that you get a different result using the button if you did not include the unit itself as key in your price conditions.

Hello Jurgen,

Thanks for your reply.

I have changed the order unit and the price has not been updated.

I know that it will not be updated unless I click on the update button, but my customer wants the price to be updated automatically without having to do this step (clicking on the update button) because customer is afraid of user entry error.

I think your client has to get used to the SAP standard design.

I actually think that you get less errors and user entry errors with a consistent concept. e.g. you should look for the reason why the material is defaulted with CAR as unit and why this needs to be changed to PC. With the right masterdata settings such changes in the PO should not be needed at all.

check material master addtional field what has been maintained and also check PIR for variable unit of measure.

You have to maintain the price then it will take it according to unit

This is the way, you can update the price

I agree with Jurgen , but still if you want you can automate it by a simple batch job that identifies POs that are affected by price changes and then carry out a mass repricing action by using BDC recording. Not a good solution but can do the job
