How to get account dimension member value directly ?

Hello Experts,

I had a requirement to generate a report on the base on accounts .

Having below given account

Then having a input templates as

Now want a account eNA value like below given for year 2008

But i am not getting any value in year ? i Know if i will select all the dimension as its given in input templates then i can see the value but in my report i do not want input templates values ..I need only account and entity and time nothing else in final report ..

IS it possible to get this values..

Hi Vadim,

Not able to comment on your last comment , In my case report is having 10 account and these 10 account is connected with 10 different input templates with some different columns and rows now i need to generate a consolidated report where user can see the 10 account with reuest and proposed values now for this for each account i have to generate a same kind of input templates with same selection so that only i will get the data for a account means that i have to generate 10 different input template in to report to get the value of 10 different account ?

is there any function or any way to achieve only account value on the basis of category time rather the create a same kind of selection to get the value ?

Have to repeat once again: there is NO "only account value on the basis of category time"

If you have other dimensions (not category and time) you have to use root parent members for the mentioned extra dimensions!

For example you have some dimension DIM1

With members:

PARENT1

...MEM1

...MEM2

...MEM3

To get info for all members you have to select PARENT1 in report for this dimension!

It's absolitly basic thing...

Sorry but looks strange!

You have to specify other dimensions members. It's obvous!

Hi Vadim,

Any way to get the values directly from the Account member with year and category only ..

Because i have a 50 different account and each account is having data from different input templates and moving to final report i need to generate report like in rows all 50 accounts and in column only year will be there with having category as Planning .?

Sorry, but you don't understand cube concept...

The data is available for intersection of ALL dimensions only!

If you have root parent members for all other dimensions (not account, time and category) you can select the mentioned parents for other dimensions!
