There are several ways to enhance standard java programs. Most java based platforms provide some kind of API that can be accessed by custom developed programs allowing for further development. But if you want us to provide you with more information on exactly how flexible it is you need to provide us with more details about what you're want to do.
I will have an application with many input fields to create/edit a data record. Customers should have the possibility to preallocate some input fields.
Before saving the changes I will check the data. Customers should now have the possibility to add their own checks.
Did anybody ever come across an answer to this problem? What about enhancement possibilities in Java? I would really appreciate any comment on that issue!
