Creating view

Hi Gurus

We have View and datasource already created in R/3 Dev now we want to add few fields to View ( which are also exist in the tables by which the view is created ) so I have modified view now my confusion is do I need to append the extract structure also to add those field in extract structure? because when I go to RSA6 and look at the data source and ES the new fields are not there so I think I need to append the ES.am I right ? or I am missing some steps?

Pl guide me.

Replicate the DS and you should have it.

If not, edit the DS in RSO2 in the source system (just make some cosmetic change), save it, and then replicate it to BW.

You do not need to append anything, the field will be picked in the ES.

But when I go to RSA6 and look at the data source then the field which I have added in view are not visible there. You said I need to go to RSO2 then would you pl tell me what should I do there?

The development on BW side is still to be done but I want to make sure that R/3 Dev is perfact. Pl tell me Ajay.

I went to change mode in RSO2 and just saved it again and now I can see the fields in datasource.So am I good to go now ? R/3 is done?

Yes, replicate it to BW and proceed.
