Are you sure you're connecting to SAP Business Intelligence platform ?
HANA server or Launchpad are not the same thing.
Also, verify that the URL is correct as /sap/biprws is not a default URL.
Also, try to login as Enterprise user first, not using sap authentication.

Hi Laura

Start with the "SAP Lumira, server for BI Platform Installation and Administration Guide, 1.31". The guide is available at this link:

https://help.sap.com/businessobject/product_guides/lumS4BIP1/en/lumS4BIP_131_admin_en.pdf

If that does not help, please create a phone incident or you can also use chat as described in KBA 2213344.

SAP is now offering chat support for specific product components. For more details please see the KBA 2213344 - How to start a chat with SAP Support[video]

Hi Laura,

First of all I see you use port 6405 which is the default port, but it might be different in your BI platform. You can check with BO administrator.

I recommend you to check Lumira trace logs, so you can see what the issue is in the log files. You can find log files in C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Local\Temp\sapvi\logs drive. More info: Did you know… Enable Tracing in Lumira Desktop?

Thank you SO much Tuncay! I am checking with csuchico to see if the number is different. I found the logs but can't make hide nor hair of them : ) Hopefully the administrator will be able to work through that too. Thank you so much for your quick and experienced reply!
