BI_WRITE_PROT_TO_APPLLOG job is getting cancelled

Hello Gurus,

BG job "BI_WRITE_PROT_TO_APPLLOG" is getting cancelled with the following logs.

Job started

Step 001 started (program RSBATCH_WRITE_PROT_TO_APPLLOG, variant &0000000000011, user ID BTCSTEP)

Variant &0000000000011 does not exist

Job cancelled.

Does anyone have any idea what can be done to resolve this issue.

I have checked SE38 and prog 'RSBATCH_WRITE_PROT_TO_APPLLOG' does not have any variants and the variants are given dynamically.

The job is failing only in QA system and is running fine in DEV and Prod.

Your inputs would be helpful.

Hi,

Usually this job get scheduled automatically when you run RSA1... You could park the failing job (set to schedule) and then simply open RSA1 which a user with enough rights and set it up again.
