PM order operation time not changing with change in w/c capacity utilization (with breaks)

Hi Experts,

I facing a strange issue in operation timing based on work center capacity utilization. Say there's a work center ABC whose operating time and available capacity are mentioned below in scenario 1. I've activated the Exact break in order scheduling parameters and maintained break duration as (13:00 to 14:00), so based on that system is scheduling the operation accurately e.g. a 3 hrs operation is scheduled from 8:00 to 11:00.

But if I change the w/c capacity utilization from 100 to 85, total working hrs and capacity changes as below. In this case if I'm creating and scheduling a work order operation with 3 hrs, again its showing as 8-11:00 am only. Rather it must show from 8 to 11:40 am (due to decreased capacity).

similar issue is facing in vice versa case, means if initially I set capacity = 85% and schedule operation, it schedules from 8-11:40 am , but if the workcenter capacity utilization changes to 100% , its not changing to 8 to 11 am.

Please help to get, what's missing here.. Thanks

Dennis,

I dont know the answer, but..

Does it make any difference if you press the Schedule button in the order header (rather than saving)?

Also try changing the work centre in the operation and schedule, then changing it back and schedule again, just to see if this makes any difference.

You might want to look on OSS too..
