BI SAP Query Connector problem!

Hi All

I am having a small issue connecting VC to our R3 4.6C system. I keep getting this message in the log:

SAPEngine_Application_Thread[impl:3]_28##0#0#Error#1#/System/Server#Plain###(R3/BW) Failed to get connection. Please contact your admin. #

I have created the following:

1. New -> System (From template) -> SAP System with load balancing

2. Completed all name details

3. Completed the following sections:

Logical System Name = DEVSN

Logon Method = UIDPW

Message Server = DEVSVR

SAP Client = 800

SAP System ID = DEV

System Type = SAP_R3

User Mapping Type = admin,user

4. System Alias = R3_DEV

5. Set usermapping for my user account.

6. Go to Connection Test -> Connection test for connectors

7. That fails and the log says:

SAPEngine_Application_Thread[impl:3]_28##0#0#Error#1#/System/Server#Plain###(R3/BW) Failed to get connection. Please contact your admin. #

Can anyone help me find out what this is not working?

BTW: Portal is EP7 SP8 and R3 is 4.6c
