Hi

Let me explain you clearly.

Manual Update

For example data arrived till PSA and you got some data conversion errors in 2 data packages out of 20, in ths case correct the errors in PSA of 2 data pakcages and do the manual update only those 2.

Reconstruction

For example you deleted some request in infoprovider and you want to relaod, in this scenario you can go for reconstruction this option will load all data packages from PSA on request wise.

Hope this would be clear.

Hello,

(Scenario: suppose data has arrived successfully in PSA)

In manual update we delete the request and run the infopackage again. The difference comes when we are loading the target via

PSA. In manual, we reload the the PSA and targets again. In reconstruction we load the target via PSA. Here we do not have to load the PSA again.

One more difference is in process chains:

Suppose a load fails in a particular step in process chain and there is dependent step below it. Manual load of failed step will not

not trigger the next step but reconstruction will trigger the next step automatically.

Thanks,

Ravi
