SAP TechEd 06, was generally informative. Being new to SAP, there was a lot to take in.

I did not attend SDN day so I can not give feedback on that.

may be it was just me who was so dumb.. I somehow managed to miss most of the Clubhouse events.. was just focussing on the 4-hr hands on sessions.. managed to squeeze in 5 of them in all... heard there was a quiz too..

I won't name names but there were several who found the Clubhouse events better than some of the hands on sessions so in that sense you missed out - but it all depends on expectations and what you wanted to learn or thought you were going to learn I think.

The Quiz was of course the best part

Thanks Craig.. I now feel even DUMBER! but will sure keep this in mind if I do get a chance to attend another Teched.

LOL!

Come on just giving you a hard time

I heard that Vegas was all around 10 times better for hands on sessions, lecture sessions, SDN Day (off the wall) and the Clubhouse.

I've not heard a negative comment yet other than the fact that people kept getting lost trying to get out of the hotel

I attended both SDN Day and Tech Ed for the first time and found it very informative and met some really great people.

Now that I am familiar with the format, I will spend more time in the clubhouse next time.

My only complaint is that the three hands on sessions that I attended were plagued with problems .

In my humble opinion TechEd was great but SDN day has more potential.

One reason is that there were a lot of TechED sessions that you could attend last TechEd. The other reason is that people on SDN are more creative and get deep insight from their daily work with SAP technologies - so they know strengths and weaknesses very well.

On the one hand it was sad that only a few people joined SDN day in Amsterdam, on the other hand it was easier to get in contact with the experts.
