Hi
Is there any reason for RFC Adapter being on the Java stack of the AE, and including the HTTP adapter on the ABAP Stack.
regards
NK
Hi Henrique
Is there any specific reason for puttinng the RFC Adapter on Java stack and IDOC Adapter on the ABAP stack of XI architecutre, since both the RFC and IDOC are SAP interfaces why is the difference on the stack on which it resides and also the reason for including the HTTP adapter on the ABAP Stack.

I guess it's because XI RFC communication resides on JConnector, which is mainly java implementation. I think AE uses basically the same methods that you normally use for RFC Lookup on Java Mappings.

Henrique.
