We upgraded to NW2004s. There are a lot more functionalities in like the visual composer, the portal integration,... very nice.
1) it seems that the user is a lot more restricted in the development of a new web template: in 3.5 I could specify myself the layout (look & feel) of the web page, but now the reports are using the styles of the portal.
2)apparently we can only use 'blocks' and no modification is possible. Example: in 3.5 there was a parameter 'ONLY_VALUES'. That way we could decide where and how to integrate de data in the template. In NW2004s you can only decide which data to show en if there should be a caption.
Is there something like a 'table interface' but for web items? (a class in which we can generate the HTML code in a different way)?
I would be grateful if you could give me any information regarding creating 'special' webtemplates (layout, commands to the server,...) on the new version nw2004s.
