Agent Admin - Service cannot be reached

Hello,

I’m using Solution Manger 7.2. Month ago I have finished Mandatory configuration and added some “managed” systems. Agent admin framework was working fine. Now I want to add another systems, but Agent Admin framework is not displayed. I’m getting this error: Service cannot be reached.

I’m not aware of any changes in the meantime on the system. All services are running URL seems to be valid (same like month ago) http://hostname:8012/webdynpro/dispatcher/sap.com/tc~smd~server~agent~admin/SMDAgentAdminApplication...

I have no clue what to check/test to fix this issue.

Please advise.

Thank you in advance.

Kind regards,

Patrik

Good morning:

Nobody cares to provide a solution. This is supposed to be a cooperative application. No one can survive on their own. You need the community and they do need you. Next time, take 5 minutes to share the solution with the rest who may eventually encounter the same issue. Regards, Juan

Hi

Please check if HTTP service is up and running in SMICM. Check for the logs during the time you faced error.

Second, try using http://hostname:5xx00/smd/AgentAdmin url to see if you're able to access it?

xx- system number in our case I guess it is 12

Hello,

If the URL of the Agent Admin framework is showing Abap system instead of Java system, then the issue is URL has been entered incorrectly while maintaining the 'ICM for External Access' instep 'Configure HTTP Connectivity' in Infrastructure Preparation.

Please check Snote 2393389 to understand how to resolve the issue.

Please let me know if it does not solve the issue.

Thanks,

Danish

Hi Patrick, how did you fix issue that SMD Agent Admin is pointing to ABAP Stack port instead JAVA Stack port?

I having the same issue and had to manually edit hostname:port to redirect to Java Stack

Thanks

Hello Patrik Sepela,

SAP Agent administration application run on JAVA stack of SAP solution manager

I think you are using SAP web dispatcher in your system. Can you please try to access your Agent Admin application directly on JAVA stack?

Please check that your SAP webdispacher is online.

Thanks

Yogesh
