Guidance needed

Hi Guys,

I am trying to implement 2:1 mapping.

For example: there are two sender messages A and B. I want to map them to receiver message C. At the same time. Is it possible???

A & B are completely diff messages.

Also if i perform A-->C

and later B--->C

The mapping done in first step is lost...

Pls guide.

Regards,

Raj

    Hi,

    You can use Multimapping where you can use 2 source mapped to one target.

    Thanks,

    Hi ,

    Use maultimapping technique ie take 2 source messages A& B and map to target message C and also change the occurence of source message type 0 to UB in message mapping.

    Check this thread...

    n1-mapping

      Hi

      You can definitely do that.

      In the message mapping,on the Message tab, you can select your two messages for source and the target message.

      You will have to use the BPM.

    Sita,

    you can do that but in order for it to work, you need to use BPM (end-to-end is not possible for n:1 multimapping).

    Hi,

    When multi-mapping is required for this scenario, you will have to create a transform step in you BPM.

    The steps are as follows:

    1. Define the source interfaces and target interface

    2. In the message mapping, define the 2 source messages and one target message.

    3. In the interface mapping, define the source and target interfaces as the ones defined in step (1)

    4. In the BPM, define a transformation step using this interface mapping.

    Cheers

    Colin.
