my customer is having a problem with open sessions in BW backend system from Business Objects. They use only OLAP connections from BO to BW and the sessions exists for a very long time. (up to 7-8 days).
This is not really a critical issue but my customer wants me to change this behaviour. Isn´t there a maximum lifetime for a session in BW? Is it related to BW or BO?
If I use transaction sm04 I can see very old sessions from users which were accessing BW with any kind of reports based on OLAP connections.
