Hi,
We are trying to connect 2 portals, both on NW2004s SP8, 1 will be the consumer, the other the producer.
I've gone through the steps as described in help.sap, but after I create the producer object (in the consumer) and run the connection test, it fails and I therefore can't register the consumer in the producer.
The message I get in the connection test is "Could not retrieve the WSDL file; the handshake URL may not exist or may be invalid"
The path to the WSDL file is "/irj/servlet/prt/portal/prtroot/com.sap.portal.wsrp.coreproducer.WsdlGenerator"
I checked that this service is running ok and can call it, and in it it points to SOAP address "http://<host>/irj/servlet/prt/soap/AutoGenProducer1_0?style=doc_lit"
Calling this URL fails which I suspect is why the connection test also fails. When I look in SOAP admin, the AutoGenProducer1_0 web service is there, but the fields "Document Literal", "RPC Encoded" and "RPC Literal" all show "Not present". So where are they?
I know this is rather specific but if anyone has a clue for me to save raising it through OSS, much appreciated.
Regards
Andrew Rankin
