Hello all,
This is the line from help.sap in payroll extractor.
"The extractor for payroll results reads data from payroll cluster PCL2, not from standard tables."
Can someone explain to me what do we have to understand from that, and where in R/3 do we have to go and check for data.
Thanks in advance.
Payroll in R/3 HR is stored in the payroll cluster. Cluster is like a table of tables, its said, one record in cluster correspond with several recors in several tables that are stored in a cluster.
You can see composition of pcl2 in se11 transcation.

Hi Oscar thanks for the reply.
But then when I am trying to test extraction in RSA3 for 0HR_PY_1 then it says "0" records found. When actually the functional guy showed me there are lots of records there.
Is there any extra step we need to take like activate something or any other thing.
Thanks in adavnce.
Anytime some of last information does not upload in delta to BW from payroll because payroll has a process to close it had to be executed (or something like that (sorry, i haven't enough funcional HR knoledge), it happened to me anytime).
But, surely the user that you are using for extraction has no enought rights or authorizations.
Look at these notes

Hello Oscar,
Replying after long time, got back on HR work.
The user that is extracting data has SAP_ALL and SA__NEW so i dont think authorizations is the problem here, what do you say ?
I tried aplying all the other notes that you have mentioned but the system replies saying Note cannot be implemented.
We are on ECC 6.0 and BI 7.0 netweaver 2004s version.
Can anyone help.
Thanks,
Hello Anil,
Thanks for quick reply,
I am using my id but I also have the same profile with SAP_ALL and SAP_NEW so i dont think so authorization should be an issue for me or extraction user.
Any other thing that you can think of, I looked into notes 964569, 329961, 585682 but the system comes back saying "cannot be implemented"
Thanks,
