Workflow approval Items in Outlook

Hi all,

I'm currently trying to get the sample workflow WF_SAPFORMS1 running on a 5.0 System in combination with Outlook.

I downloaded the latest versions of the forms from note 314701 and pubished it to the Personal Forms Library as described in the readme file.

Now I can start the workflow over the wfabsenc2.otf form, but when I try to execute the attachment in Outlook, I always get an error from r3F helper, that the form "IPM.Note.SAP.Absence.Approval" is not found. I checked the naming in Outlook, but thats all correct.

When I try to use the "WorkItem"-form instead, I don't get this error. So it seems like there is a problem with this approval form.

Has someone solved such an error?

Hello Oliver,

this approach (SAP Forms) is obsolate, please read SAP note: #627397 .

Can you please check the documentation of the Report: 'RSWUWFML2' this report has to be used for workflow notifications.

do have experience with this point (within the note):

Work items based, which are not based on the SAP GUI for Windows user interface can be executed from the e-mail (E.g. WebFlow services, Web Dynpro). Single e-mails can be generated for generic decisions so that the decision can be made directly from the e-mail.

I didn't found any documentation.
