Auto-reaction by mail

Hello gurus,

I'm trying to configure the CCMS so it will send alerts to mails.

-I've configured the SAPConnect and checked it. A mail from SBWP appeared in my outlook account.

-I've followed the instruction of:

/people/federico.babelis2/blog/2006/05/03/solution-manager-cen-and-alerting-configuration-guide-for-dummies

and configured the central-auto-reaction.

-CSMCENTOOL table is empty, that means that there are no alerts to send ?

Please help me to configure the Central-Auto-Reaction.

For this, you have to configure your alert monitor (e.g. like described in the mentioned Blog) and configure SAP Connect (and SMTP, see note 455140), so that you are able to send emails from the SAP System to your office-email-adress or so.

Hello Sri,

Yagel is working with me so we are on the same project.

To answer the questions:

1) SAPConnect is configured correctly.

2) whe I try to activate the auto-reaction I get a "FATAL error". The same symptom that described in note 715024, happens also in kernel 7.00.

Please advice,

Hello,

The FATAL ERROR is a program error. Then note 715024 is talking about it but what the note doesn't say is that the problem is also relevant to kernel 7.00.

SAP confirmed that the problem is also relevant for 7.00.

I updated to the latest stack (7 or 😎 and the problem was solved.
