How can I replicate BW Information Broadcasting using BOBJ Analysis for Office 2.4

Hi All,

This requirement may sound complicated and cross-domain but it's something that I haven't found a solution for yet. Our organization is moving to Windows 10 with Office 2016 pretty soon and we realized that our current version of BEx Analyzer does not support Office 2016.

As an alternative we decided to go ahead with BOBJ Analysis for Office(AO). After further testing, we hit a roadblock when we found out that the Publications feature in BW is not available for AO workbooks. I can schedule them yes, but I can't use the publications feature(This would allow me to replicate the IB capability). When I tried to save the workbooks on the BW system so I can use IB settings; but the BEx broadcaster is a feature embedded within BEx Analyzer and not AO.

Now I'm totally lost as to how we can replicate/resolve this requirement to continue broadcasting user workbooks when we migrate to Windows 10 with Office 2016.

P.S: I've referred to a huge load of notes/tutorials on AO Scheduling but it's not what I'm looking for.

Hi - I too would like to use Publications with AO. AO/BOE integration is not up to speed yet. I have been using Webi on the BI Launch Pad. The bad this is...you have to recreate the whole report in Webi. Best of luck.
