we have one new requirement to create the Adoption for India employees.

what are the config steps need to follow to create the Adoption leave for India?

Hello Lalitha,

Check what PSA Grouping for Attendances your "Wage Employees" belong to, and double check that the Adoption Leave is valid for at least one month before the Start Date of the Absence, for that PSA Grouping.

Where does the "systems throws the error" ? If you run Time Evalustion with the "Display log" box checked, and then double-clic on the Function that generates that error, can you get additional information on the source of the problem?

Hello Remi,

This is our company requirement.

I have created the Adoption leave like maternity leave but when i am testing this leave types for wage employees systems throws the error

"Attendance/Absence type not valid in selected period". but i have checked the dates and configuration.

please guide me where do you want me check to avoid this error.

What are your requirements for an Adoption Leave when compared to the requirements for a Maternity Leave?

Are those Legal Requirements (for India) or Company Requirements?

Will you have a distinct Absence Code for the Adoption Leave?

Have you looked at the IMG under Time Management > Time Data Recording and Administration > Absences > Special Absence Data (t-code = spro) ?
