BI Runtime exception when trying to call "Printed Version" of Web Template

Hello,

when I choose "Printed Version" from the context menu of a web template designed with the WAD I get the following runtime exception:

-

Exception in BI runtime

Message:

Page "1" does not exist

Stack trace:

com.sap.ip.bi.base.exception.BIBaseRuntimeException: Page "1" does not exist at com.sap.ip.bi.webapplications.runtime.controller.impl.Controller.getPage(Controller.java:406)

-

(I omitted the rest of the stack trace)

We are on Support Package Stack 08.

Any ideas on how to correct this error?

Thanks to any answers in advance.

Regards,

Philipp

    Hi Philipp Hinnah,

Did you found a solution? We've just came across the same issue.

    Thanks,

The BI 7.0 Ramp-Up System here in our department has to struggle with some more pains...

... unfortunately, the PDF printing issue has a lower priority 😊 I will let you know as soon as things are moving on here...

      Cheers,

      Philipp

    Hello Prakash and Philipp,

In our case, the service was configured correctly. One day everything was working great and next day : error message. This happened only in PROD, DEV and QA were okay.

We finally found out why. Even if the ADSUSER was set to communication user, the password expired!! (The 60 day limit is right on with our install date). We did a password reset and everything is fine now.

    Hope this will help you.

    Carole C.

P.S. to Prakash : If you know a way that we can set the ADSUSER so that the password won't expire, please let us know because we are expecting to face the same issue in 60 days from now. We are running on HP/UX. Thanks.
