Question about MBEWH

Dear Sirs, our application uses mbewh table for customer reports, for determine initial stock amount of some materials for a period.

In our system mareriale have separate valuation so we suppose, as usual, in mbewh there is a record for each valuation (if movements <> 0, the mbewh records only differences etc....) and a recor with valuation = blank wichh reports the sum of all exixsing valuations (we hope this is always correct...) for a period.

But in some case we observe incoerencies in mbewh past insertions, for yeear 2004 for example.

We have seen there is a lot of notes regarding mbewh for missing recorde, errors in updating etc but the question is: what happens for existing/historical data on the table ? I think Sap does not correct the past entries in the table, or perhaps there is a standard program for rebuild all entries in mbewh ?

The problem exists beacause our report must be launched in the past periods.

If there is no way to adjust mbewh insertions we suppose the only way for obtain correct values is to replicate the MB5B logic, in fact this program does not uses mbewh.

Best Regards.
