In Matl master quality management to be invoked and you should specify the inspection type and insp setup. Hope this will help U.

In QA11, I am getting the following message:

"Required Characterisitics still open!

Do you want to force Inspection completion"

How do I correct this message?

Hi

I think you have not entered results for all the inspection characteristics. Please check the status of charatcterstics, if all the characterstics are having status 5, then you willnot get this error. Check the status and enter results and close, then try QA11.

In QA11, the Characteristics have Status 1. Do you know what Transaction is used for Inspection Characteristics?

Hi Vamsee,

You have to do the results recording for the inspection lot and then proceed to enter the Usage decision.

Use QE51n to enter the results,

After all the results are entered you can as well proceed for Usage decision with QA11.

Hi

if you know inspection lot number go to QE01 and enter inspection lot. You will find list of charatcterstics to enter results. Enter reslts and click on valuate and close (Lock icon). Then status will change to 5. Once status changed to 5 for all inspection characterstics, save it,

Then you can go to QA11 and give usage decision and do the stock posting and save.
