Actuel GI Date/Delivery VL01N

Dear All expertise

Could you help me, I have one sales order with requested delivery date 20.03.2017, I need when go to delivery screen VL01N the actuelGI date to be filled automatic as requested delivery date in the sales order 20.03.2017 not to be blank or system date.

Hope you know in what circumstances, this field would be updated, I am really surprised on your post. Why you want that field to be filled up with some wrong date? It should always be filled with a date on which, inventory posting is happening when stock is made available physically . Even with User Exit, I would not recommend to achieve this requirement.

System would still allow you to use any date as long as the MM period is open. Hence, my recommendation would be to restrict PGI happening via VL01N which is very much possible as recommended in OSS note 64553. Then for VL02N or VL10*, schedule a background job with different variants where the Actual GI date should be dynamic.

is their any configuration where i can made in system so that the date defined while creating sales order reflected automatic on delivery date.

• first I deal with non-stock materials.
• second I have outside branches which haven't any connection to system, and they make all of their work on excel, then i receive all the orders of week and enter to the SAP system at the start of next week, so that i need to use old date.
