I try to upgrade netweaver 7.0 to 7.3 using SAP SUM

Hi Expert !!!!

Any one who experience in the below error please help me. The error occurred in phase PREP_INPUT_CHECK/TOOLCHECKXML_INI!

Last error code set: Calling tool '/usr/sap/SID/SUM/abap/exe' failed with exit code -9
Error: The command 'R3load' from tool 'R3load' could not be executed successfully

I appreciate you mentioned SUM in the subject this time, but it's still not a very good subject line. You need something that others will be able to tell, at a glance, what the question is about. Try harder.

You again failed to give any version information about your environment, other than basic source and targets for the upgrade. What version of SUM are you using? What Notes have you checked? What troubleshooting steps have you taken?

Did you restart SUM after upgrading R3Load (Kill SAPup process)?

I already updated SUM kernel with latest R3load

Update the SUM kernel with the latest R3load and try again
