LTP - Net Requirement Calculation

Hi All,

My client is using LTP.

Net requirement is calculated using the below formula in Excel.

Self(FG) RM + transfer out RM - transfer in RM = Net requirements.

Procedure followed is,

01. Planning scenario is created for FG, Transfer In & Transfer Out individually.

02. PIR is generated for FG, Transfer In & Transfer Out category by referring respective Planning scenario.

03. All the 3 scenarios will be executed for MS01 & then MCB).

04. With output of MCB) net requirement is calculated by the above given formula in an Excel sheet.

05. With the data in Excel sheet, the are directly creating PR's & PO's in ME51N & ME23N.

My Query:

01. How to avoid calculation in Excel sheet or any legacy system, we want NET REQUIREMENT should be calculated with the same formula in SAP LTP itself.

02. In the above procedure there is no role for MRP Run in MD01/MD02/MD03, we need to use these standard SAP functionalities for business process.

Note :

In SAP we have the option to convert LTP Planning data into Operative Planning but business can't do that without ensuring NET REQUIREMENT is same with SAP LTP calculation and Legacy Calculation.

If I transfer my LTP to operative planning, in that case, will operative planning is overwritten by data coming from LTP or LTP data will get added to the current operative planning.

Regards,

Dinesh Kumar V.
