PO header text in idoc..

Right now when I am creating a PO , an IDOC gets created automatically. But in the IDoc which gets generated the PO header text doesnÂ’t appear. Is there anything which needs to be done from the programming stand point of view to get this in a segment ?

I know how to retrieve the text using read_text.

Rgds,

Ajay Sharma.

    But a break point at:

    form <b>FILL_E1EDKT1</b> in include <b>LEINMF2T</b>

    form <b>FILL_E1EDKT2</b> in include <b>LEINMF2W</b>

Or else you can use BADI <b>MM_EDI_ORDERS_OUT</b> just to check what data is coming in!

    Hi,

Try to use the function module 'SAVE_TEXT' in the IDOC function module..

    Thanks,

Try looking at function IDOC_OUTPUT_ORDERS. At the bottom, go into the form FUELLEN_IDOC_INTTAB. Search for 'E1EDKT1'. This is where the text should be getting added to the IDoc. Place a breakpoint around here. Change your output to process by background program, change a PO and save. Run RSNAST00 for your output type and you should stop at the breakpoint.

Did you look into segments <b>E1EDKT1</b> (Header Text Ids) and <b>E1EDKT2</b> (Header Texts)?
