Warning message isn't shown in V_SA Log

Hello everybody,

We need to show a warning message created by us in V_SA (VBFS-Table). This warning message is shown when creating delivery in dialog. We wish to see the same warning message in the log of collective run.

Is it possible? How I can do this?

Do I need to begin with maintaining of our warning message in the view V_160MVL_SYS and then do the same in OVM1? Is it enough and a right way to solve it?

If the way described above doesn't work, Is there any other options besides enhancements points, user exits and so on?

Did you try maintaining the Call Type in OVM1 for your customized message where I believe, an option is there for background processing.

not yet, that was my first idea as well. I just want to know if sb faced the same/similar problem how he/she solved it. It is a costumer where I cannot customize that easy and check if it is ok or not. 🙂

Hi Lakshmipathi,

As I said this warning message isn't a standard SAP message.

Message class is VL. Message number is 8XX.

I meant a collective run for creating of delivery. Let say VL10C. (RVV50R10C)
