Software Lifecyle Manager Problem

Hi,

We have installed SOLMAN 4 ABAP+J2EE without SLD and Central SLD in standaone J2EE. we want to use SLM in the J2EE addin for solman. but the connection to SLD is not working even the SLD data supplier is configured correctly in the j2ee addin as we can transfer data to central SLD

we receive the error when connecting to SLM

Cannot connect to SLD server; CIM_ERR_FAILED: Object manager is not activated

How to connect SLM to SLD?

Thanks

    Hi,

Plz use the steps provided below to make the connection in SLD.

    1.Logon to portal, http:// username/passwd. Save it.

13.Goto "System Administration" à System Configuration à Connection Tests à Switch View.

14.Now use this system for connecting Portal to R/3 system or any other system.

The Forum site does provide a way to attach documents to answers. If such a facilty was provided, I would have attached the screen shots too.

    Cheers!!!!

    Hi,

    Thanks for your reply.

We dont use Portal in the J2EE. the J2EE is SolMan Java Add-In installed with ABAP SolMan4.

we have central SLD not resided in the same J2EE and we want to setup SLM to be connected to SLD.

SLM will reside in the same instance like J2EE.
