Fill table of a BAPI

Hi all,

I have a BAPI calls /SAPTRX/BAPI_EH_GET_DATA_GEN. After Flip port of a table I fill it over a table view (also I fill some other input parameters over a input form). The date mapping to the BAPI is submit.

When I execute the VC, the BAPI doesn't get anything import parameters. I also tried the Test Data Service functionallity, in that case the BAPI gets the import parameters but not from the table which is on the input side.

I'm using VC version 700.8.0.1

Do anyone have an idea what's going wrong?

Hi Ajay,

We are not yet ready to apply SP9. Therefore I want to work with the way round suggestion which you have made to Berthold. Just want to clarify one thing.. when I put my table element in the import parameters, do I get a single entry in the table or can I have multiple entries?

Hi Berthold,

There is work around to solve this issue.

You can create Z RFC and put only the import parameters (even the table elements ). And pass these values into import, Tables structure of the BAPI which you want to call in VC . This works fine. Hopefully problem with FLIPPORT will be solved in SP9 end of Septmember.

Hi Berthold Hege,

VC 7.0 SP 9 has been released by SAP in the following location

service.sap.com-> Download -> SAP Support Packages

-> Entry by Application Group -> EP -> VC base 7.0 and VC Flex 7.0 VC Framework 7.0 .

Unzip the files and deploy the SP 9 using SDM RemoteGUI.exe

I hope this problem will be solved

Hello Hege,

There is bug with flip port in VC 7 SP8. Hopefully this will be fixed in upcoming SP9 .Which will be released in end of sept,2006
