Hi,

Since a long time ago I have noticed that it is not possible to create Query Filters on Details objects based on bit datatype columns (UNX universe), Situation might be summartrized as follow:

Query Filter using Detail object

Column datatype works

string yes

datetime yes

int yes

bit no

Anyone knows how to workaround the situation without having to alter the column datatype? I have tried to use the CAST statement on detail object definition without success.

Thx

I haven't tested this but what aboiut if you create the object as Dimension in universe and then use in query filter?

Yes it works. But the good thing is that we have already noticed that issue came from the fact that for some strange reason after last minor release upgrade (4.0 to 4.1) all attributes based on bit columns appears with the condition option (see advanced tab) unchecked by default (!!)

Just as simple to check it and the attribute might be used as usual in the query filter panel.

Thanks in any case.
