Enbale back button when error message is dispalyed

Hi,

How can I enable the BACK button or any other button when i execute a report and a error message is displayed.

When a error message is dispalyed, the standard interface buttons are in disable mode. How can I activate them.

    Hello Srikanth

    I do not think we can fool the SAP standard. However, if your report is a customer report then you could send the error message with type 'S'. If the message clearly indicates the error I would not mind changing it that way.

    Try using the AT EXIT-COMMAND. See the bottom part of this documentation.

    Just hit Enter after you get the error message, control goes to where you've started executing the program like start menu or SE38.

    HI,

    The main use of CHAIN and ENDCHAIN is that, when you enter a wrong input value, the system stops processing and it will ask you to enter the correct input value.

    For example when you enter a character in date field, the system fires a error message asking you to enter the data in correct format.

    to prevent this you can use Chain and Endchain

    Chain.
    Field sflight-carrid value (‘LH’).
    Field sflight-connid values (between ‘200’ and ‘500’).
    Endchain
