MSS PCRs - Save Functionality

Dear all,

We have to implement customized forms in our project, with 30-40 fields per form, rather than the 4-5 fields available in the standard forms. In my opinion, the custimer has a legitimate request viz. the initiator of the PCR needs the ability to save the form with partially filled data and resume later. I couldn't locate any standard way of doing this from R/3 side. Is there any way to implement this functionality?

Using my SAP ERP 2004, ECC 5.0, MSS BP 60.2 and EP 6.0.

An early response will be much appreciated.

Thanks and Regards

I didn't get a chance to wokr on the WebDynpro based MSS as yet .. but with the earlier version, you can add an extra SAVE button on the JSP & make relevant changes to the function module in the backend.. just beware that there is alimitation on the number of fields you can add.. you might run into a Java compilation error..
