Need to know about operating system migration from Solaris 10 to suse Linux??

Hello

We are cuurrently using sap nw7.4 with Enterprise portal content on Solaris 10 with Oracle 12C DB.

We are planning for os migration to suse.linux 11.

Need expert advice on the same.

Hi Gaurav,

This depends if you are using Solaris SPARC (big endian) or x86 (little endian)

Basically if you are changing the endianness of the host OS you need to go for a Heterogeneous system copy, if you don't a Homogeneous system copy will do.
