The OS details is as of follows.

Is it possible to start SGEN now ?

Kindly help me on this

Hello,

hmmm I do not know how could you proceed, since this is a IDES installation...

If you have access to the SAP Support LaunchPad - Software Center, I would suggest that you download the latest patch level of the kernel release 722 and apply it per the SAP Note 2115344.

In fact, it would be even better to confirm the correct kernel release at the PAM (Product Availability Matrix).

Hi,
Is there any other relevant information written, for instance on WP trace file, apart from that dump?

Can you even install an ABAP system with only 2 GB of RAM?

Well, it will work...

If it is a small test system, you can reduce the number of work processes to an absolute minimum (1 BTC, 1 UPD, 0 UP2, 1 SPO, 5 DIA) and you can even run the database at the same server. Some more tuning in the SAP memory areas and 2GB is enough. Just don't expect it to be the fastest system ever 🙂

Hi ,

I started the sap system successfully. But firstly after logging in, the above same error message pops up daily. After that i will go back to home screena and after the message is gone. i.e, session manager screen will appear.

Yes, system is too slow, but for the user that's more than enough:)

Hello Praveen,

The only way to avoid that first popup with the error would be to upgrade the SAP kernel as I indicated in my first reply...
