Hi,
Our Bw system has 2 application servers (BPC1 and BPC2). We have defined one process chain which it is executed by BPC package. This process chain has one package that read data from Application Server option. The problem is that sometimes if we executed BPC package, process chain fail in the BW package and the error is something like "The file XXX is not open"?. On the other hand, if we schedule process chain from BW selecting one of those 2 application Server it is working fine, but if we do not specify a server, the process chain is going to execute across all available servers and in this case also the error appear. Conclusion, the process chain it should be execute selecting one of those servers in this case execution is going to finish ok, otherwise, the process is going to be wrong (caused by "The file XXX is not open"). Any one know which might be the solution?
Thanks in advance.
We have this package in EPM.

It execute this process chain:

This process has these attributes to be executed:

Note: Our BW server has 2 application servers: BPC1 and BPC2 we want to execute always with the first one. We set up like this because when we execute EPM package sometimes failed (when system select BPC2 to execute the process chain). The problem is that in this case, ones selected BPC1 server in process chain attributes, we do not why, sometimes the process chain it is executed by BPC2 and fail in this step (loading package):
If process chain is executed by BPC1 Application Server:
Process chain image
If process chain is executed by BPC2 Application Server:
Process chain wrong image
The error is next when process chain is executed by BPC2 Application Server:
Infopackage error image
This package read data from file located in AL11:
Infopackage definition image
Otherwise, if the process chain is executed directly from BW, always is working fine because the Background Process selected in attributes is always BPC1. Anyone know why fail when the process chain is executed by EPM package and system select BPC2 application Server when, in the process chain is fixed BPC1 as background server?
