Missing InputField Rendering in tableView on NW2004s

Hi,

after upgrading to NetWeaver2004s (620->7.0) we recognized some strange behavior with our existing web application: We have some tableView Elements where the user can fill in some data. Therefore we use some textEdit, dropdownListBoxes and inputFields. Whereas the textEdit and ListBoxes are displayed and functioning correctly the inputFields are not rendered as inputFields (border around the field is missing). Has anyone around remarked a similar behavior?

Thanks for any help.

Heiko

Do you use customer specific style sheets?

If you do so, you might need to convert. Try first, if standard styles work correctly, before converting to NW2004S.

Which basis support package do you have?

Hi,

no, I don't use customer specific style sheets, but I received a very quick answer from SAP. They told me, that this is not an error but a new feature (I will not comment this one).

Anyway they also told me that it is possible to put a frame around your inputField by setting the parameter P_ISREADONLY to 'X' in the RENDER_CELL_START-Method of your table iterator class. I wonder why I haven't come to this obvious solution on my own... So the problem is solved.

Thanx anyway for your help.
