Hello Experts
I know this is a very generic error, but this is what I get when trying to build the report on a .unv universe based on a BEx query in BI4.2 SP2:
"The following database error occurred: A database error has occured. For information about this error, please refer to SAP Knowledge Base Article 2054721 on the SAP Support Portal. (IES 10901) (Error: INF )"
This error is intermitent, I haven't been able to pin point the cause. It's not a corrupt infoobject. And the universe parse is OK.
The only thing that is different to this report/universe is the fact that it is the biggest one we've tried to create (almost 200 infoobjets).
Any ideas? Have you been able to create tables with this amount of infoobjects?
Thanks
Antonette
Hi ram B
The problem was the amount of dimensions. I think there was a limit of 40 or 50 (not sure). The measurements can be much more. So we removed the unimportant dimensions and then the report refreshed successfully.

Hello Nuno
Thanks for the reply. The error happens very quick, under a minute. Where should I check for timeout settings? The universe parameter limits are already removed.

Hi,
I believe this occurs due to a timeout.
You could insert a query summary in the report just to check how long it took to run when the error doesn't occur and compare it with the time it takes to run until you receive the error. When you receive the error it should have taken a bit more time. I think you can get a timeout around 10 minutes of trying to run the report.
Can you test and confirm?
