Hi ,

I am creating DME file for Singapore and I have added purpose code(FPAYP-XREF1)

in DME file.Requirement is that DME file will not suppose to create if

purpose code(FPAYP-XREF1) field is empty.

I have tried with status field as 1 and system is giving error but file is getting generate.

my requirement is system is not supposed to create file if purpose code field is empty in the DME.

Thanks,

Venkata Harish.

Hi, is this copied from the XREF1 field of the document? Isn't it easier to make the field obligatory when doing the original posting? Best other option I can think of is an user exit in the header of the DMEE file checking the data and thus creating an "empty file" if not populated

Hi ,

We are giving purpose code in XREF1 field while posting the transaction and Now requirement is that if any user to forget to update field and we putting validation at DME level if that field is empty then DME file will not supposed to create and I have tried with status field and system was giving error message but DME file is creating.

my requirement is that system not supposed to create the DME file if purpose code field is empty.

Thanks,

Venkata Harish.
